Congratulations, 2017 Recipients!
Fifty undergraduate and graduate students diagnosed with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) were each awarded a $2,000 tuition payment and one year of ADHD coaching to support the transition to higher education in colleges, universities, vocational schools, and technical schools. Recipients were selected from more than 2,000 applicants across the United States. Shire recognizes these individuals for their involvement in school, work, and communities as well as their experiences in meeting the challenges of living with ADHD.
The scholarship program is for legal residents of the United States who:
- have been diagnosed with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
- are accepted to or will be enrolled in a 2- or 4-year Undergraduate Program or a Graduate Program (of one or more years in length) at an accredited college, university, trade school, technical school, or vocational school located in the US
- are under the care of a licensed health care professional for ADHD
